I am using my iphone/fing and "Free Call" to make SIP calls, but i do not know how to have my friends call me by SIP. the SIP number on their caller ID does not work for them to call me back. Is there a way for them to call me on my SIP phone?

As you do not need an adapter does this mean you plug your phone directly into the computer?? Also, can you tell me if the call quality is as good as on other ( adapter ) voip connections? The Sip-phone website is not very clear on this.

I want to make VOIP calls between India and Saudi Arabia. I want to know if buying two SIP phones (hardware) and placing one in each country will be enough to do this or do I have to subscribe for the VOIP service from some service provider who will bill me on a per minute basis? If the VOIP service provider is not necessary to make such calls, then will the calls made using only the hardware SIP phones be free?

I run a small services business and our major overhead is the telephone. We are looking to make a major step and move into a serviced office building with secure Cisco networks, and I am looking to avoid their huge monthly telephony costs by putting in place a good VoIP solution to give us a more professional image.

There are 4 of us ... we want to someone to be able to dial a main company number and be greeted by a company introduction message, and then presented with options on who they would like to be directed to. We want this solution to have all the normall business things you would expect like voicemail, call forwarding, message indicator, etc. Up to now I have been looking at the following solutions: Skype (obviously too basic for proper business purposes), SIP (like sipgate and voipfone ... these look pretty good to me) and Primus Telecom.

Taking into account the functions we are looking for coupled with good value call rates what would you recommned?

Hi everyone, I bought a Zyxel P-2000W_V2 recently with the hope that I was going to use it through Skype. Unfortunately, this phone works with SIP. Notice that it s an external phone and not a software which connects wirelessly to my router. Can anyone tell me if it is possible to adjust it to work with Skype or if there is a way to make calls to Skype through it. Thanks a lot.
