I'm thinking about jailbreaking + installing the SIP calling app on the iPod Touch, but I don't want to until I'm sure that there is a reliable service provider. Are there any completely free SIP providers that provide unlimited calls to landlines free of charge?

Any other bonus features such as a personal phone number or ipod-to-computer calls are appreciated, but the most important thing is that it has free ipod-to-landline calls.

I am looking for the cheapest SIP telephony provider. Please can you suggest the cheapest SIP provider out there? Currently using Gradwell and they're a bit pricey. No suggestions for normal VoIP (like Skype) please. It must be SIP as I have already invested in the equipment.

I want to use various providers to set up my own provider service. Some providers offer better prices to certain areas than others so I wish to combine these to get the over all best rates to resell. Is there a platform, pref OS, to do this?

in fact, she does nothing all day a load of dishes, doesn't clean the counters, mop floors, etc nor does she do yard work but rather sits watches TV or reads while sipping her wine. I work a full time job I am tired when I get home. She told me when we decided to move in togheter she would clean & cook dinner. She has cooked on a handful of occassion. I subtly suggested brushing the dog she said "I just did that" but it needs to be done daily as does the dusting of the floors. When I spoke with her about the problem I was having with the hair & the fact that she really needed to clean it up everyday she seemed annoyed with me the rest of the night. There have also been some other issues that I feel she should take care of since she is home, & issue with the neighbor I had to handle & an issue with our lawn care provider I had to handl. I had been living along for 20 yrs. Is it just me, or is she just plan lazy? What to do. I don't want her but mad but cant live like this eithe

The issue is the roomate and her lack of responsibility for household things. I am by no means a clean freak, but when there is hair in the fridg, etc it is too too much. And the fact that she is home all day and does nothing (she is supported by her ex husband thru alimony). I enjoy her personally, she is great, but she is lazy and I dont' know how to approach her as it seems that when I have talked with her, she gets mad. The issue with the lawn guy ended in us arguing because I thought he should come 3 times a month so when he was there, I was at work, I asked her to talk with him about it. When I got home, she said her told her no, he was comeing 4 times a month. I was like WHAT, he told you????? She said "I did nt best I could" She just doesn't handle things. It is creating more responsibility for me and I have enought with an ailing mother and a 24 year old disabled son, not to mention full time work
Relationship: If my roomate worked full time, I would be more inclined to split the dog thing with her, and other issues that come up at home while I am at work, but she doesnt. SHE IS HOME ALL DAY watching TV reading and drinking wine. I spend the majority of my time at home in my room. I do mop the bathroom DAILY as it is another room we share and I hate having dog hair all over, plus her sticky hairspray which then plasters the hair to everything. But I feel like she is home and I am not and I might as well live alone. I thought that this would releive some responsibility. I'd like to keep her as a roommate but something has to change and I just need some ideas about how to approach her so she isn't upset and can see where I come from..Am I being unreasonable?

Im going back to work in the middle of dec and my son (who is 7 1/2 months old now) is breastfed. So, my question is how do I start to wean him off of my breast. He doesn't really care for a sippy cup, ive put breast milk in it once and he looked at me like I was crazy! I do keep trying it with water , he will take a couple of sips and that's about it. I have given him milk right out of the cup and he did like that but then that makes it a little more difficult for the childcare provider as they would have to hover over him while he sips.
He wont take bottles , ive tried a couple of times by getting relatives to give it to him but he will just chew on it.
Now...with this all said, should I just switch to formula during the day for him and still breastfeed at night?
I just feel overwhelmed now as dec is coming quickly!!!

I've invested in the food-vendors for certain school districts. These companies became entrenched, and are often sole-source providers of mandated "healthy snack foods" on campuses.

However, recently, it's come to light that certain politicians, including (even some 8th grade class vice-President), have been involved in circumventing the Schools' enforcement of "sole-source-selling", and "zero-tolerance of junk-food". I'm afraid the company I own shares of will be in a turf-war with these kids.

The excessively lenient punishment of stripping (without due process) the VP of his office; barring him from the honors dance; and suspending him from school has me really worried about the security of my investments.

If we're going to just let these people get away with breaking our monopoly strangle-hold on childrens' food, what's next - sharing furtive sips of the odd soda?

I want to know if my investment is safe - or should I pull all my money out to buy Gold?

Earlier today I ran a 49.12 400m, qualifying to run at a large state meet. My 4x100m ran a 42.45. I attended a Jr.Prom dance tonight, I reserved a 0 limousine for my friends. At dinner, a kid slipped alcohol into my drink. I went to the dance and someone in my limo was caught for drinking, and turned me in as the "provider". A special-education teacher breathalyzed me (inaccurately). Now I have a 5 day suspension, and I'm kicked off the track team.

My question is, are police the only qualified individuals who can test for alcohol? Because last time I checked, one sip of alcohol spit out at dinner doesn't exceed more than three times the "legal" limit.

Me and my parents need a way to fight this, any advice? I have worked so hard academically (4.33 GPA) and athletically for this year. I would hate to lose it all.

hi guys my need is simple i need a FREE 10 US DIGIT phone number thru some kind of sip service (i actually use sipnumber.net thats just one front of others) i used stanaphone but now they are getting out of business, i need another provider that gives a number for free (That preferable is not related to sipnumber.net that company runs with different names online) so guys please help
i tried ipkall already and it doesnt work as intended for me and asterix is out of the question i cant run my own server here any other ideas?
thanks for the idea i already know about grandcentral but it's just a forwarder , yes i can forward it to gizmo project accounts and configure them on sip but after trying gizmo it proved to be unreliable at least to me anyone got another idea?

My local Cell Carrier offers Motorola's POC (PTT Over Cellular) and carries just a few Motorola mobiles with PTT enabled (only motorola). Nokia offers a downloadable software that enables the phone to connect to the carrier's POC network using GPRS. The problem is that I don't know how to extract the configuration parameters from my existing Motorola mobile so I can configure my Nokia mobile's POC software with them.

The software I'm talking about is readily available at the Nokia website, and all I have read tells me it should work on my carrier's POC network. Once again, my problem is the config options, like:

Nickname
Access Point (I assume this should be my regular GPRS setup)
Server Address
username
ptt password
realm.

These all sound like SIP parameters, but my Motorola mobile won't show them to me, and it would seem my provider is using no username/pwd authentication. Your help would be greatly appreciated, Motorola mobiles with PTT offered here are horrendous.
