Can you describe the infrastructure requirments (in my basement) and good hardware choices for the interface conference bridge. I would like to just have voice for now and secure pins for multiple groups. I only have K for starters and K for yearly maintenance. We expect about 1000 conferences a year and about 50 active clients. I don't need a toll-free number. I would not be averse to leasing equipment or using used equipment.

We have a conference call with all offices around once a month. As you can imagine, it gets very expensive. We have been using Bell Canada. My managers are wary of VOIP as they have not had good luck with things like Skype/etc. So has anyone used any traditional conference calling companies other than Bell? Any that are great (ie. good international rates) or any to avoid? Thanks!

I know Skype can do conference calls, is relatively easy, and has clients for Windows, Mac, and Linux -- but it's not Free Software. Google Talk is free, but does not have a Mac or Linux client. Jabbin does not support conference calls.

I am seeking to set up a regular internet Conference Calling site with users from America, Europe and West Africa. The West African users may be limited, by bandwidth, to Voice only. Other users should be able to use Video & Voice. My own limited research shows SKYPE is capable of having FOUR Conference callers at once. Is this the best option available? Does Yahoo or MSN or any other VOiP system offer a better set up? Is FOUR users going to be the maximum possible for a Conference using the Internet. If there were to be more users, what other software or user system could you recommend?
