Hi im dong a project in school on configuring a 2960 switch for voip can anyone point me in the right direction to find configuration for it

What do you need to know? There is alot to think about - are you using Cisco phones? Other phones? Software on a PC?
The two main things to look at are the basic configuration of the port if you want to have voice and data in separate VLANs, and the second is QoS. As a basic, look at autoqos to get it working.
