i have heard of VOIP and have checked into it. The only problem with it is that you need a high speed connection and everyone isn't on that yet. So until it's the norm that everyone has cable or high speed internet, IT wont be the norm. I do agree though, it is becoming popular and well, if I find VOIP here that is NOT a set limit of minutes AND is lower than my phone company, i'll be on it!
