voice over ip, voip providers,

How can I get my wireless to stop blinking?

by admin on May 2, 2009

I'm using a dell laptop (windows xp) with wireless card that uses the wireless network in my home. Most of the time when I go on the internet, it will disconnect when I click a link and then reconnect immediately, with the little voice balloon coming up to say it's connected.
I get the same results whether the firewall is on or not. I have all the right tcp/ip info & passwords…
I've already tried un and reinstalling everything, including explorer, I've reset the connection from the hub and reset the hub many times.
Windows is not finding any hardware or program conflicts either.
Please somebody help me!

by blinking you mean reconnecting? was your laptop in sleep or hybernation before you opened it? if so thats normal, it will shut off devices such as wifi to save power.
