He's a college prof, so the unlimited long distance calling works great for him. I haven't noticed a difference in quality (I'vemade about 50 calls on his phone), although once when I called my mom in Iowa from Arizona, there was a slight pause before I'd hear her answer... maybe with VoIP, it takes a bit longer for the voice to reach at times.
