I would like to connect a voip phone directly to my broadband router so i can make/recieve calls when my pc is off. I do not want to replace my router. i read a little about a voip router but still unsure, would prefer to keep my existing router. will i need any hardware?
I don't want to connect a voip phone to my pc or landline with an adapter.

well i only know how to do it on the bt homehub... you need a green socket (supplied with the package) and plug it in to your homehub, then connect your phone socket into the green one... that's all i know i hope it answered your question
