Will they know that my number is a voip (voice over internet)? I want to know if I can get away with using it like this because i do not have a land line. They say their system wont be compatible, but theres gotta be a way I can use this. Its still a phone and works just like a land line. please help me!!

Depends who the company is. I work from home too, I also need a landline and cannot use wireless laptop. So i connect the router to the laptop when I work.
