I want to use vonage voip, so do I still need to keep basic att phone service to keep the dsl line? att is a rip-off !

I don't know the answer. But, yes AT&T is a ripoff, they nickel and dime you to death. When I couldn't get all the features I was suppose to get according to their Website, I told them I'll be outta here within a month. Well it only took 8 days, and I was in Vonage. Great switch!
