I am going to do a business. My business needs frequent long distance call. I came to know about VOIP.
The basic requirment into have hi-speed internet connection. Other than the basic requirment, do I need to buy any hardware for attending calls, receiving fax messages etc.
Can you please let me know the hardware & cost involved in VOIP setup?

I've looked into this as well and I found that the simplest solution to my needs was to have a dial around service and the best one I came across was http://Tel3Business.org
Basically the way this works is that you have an access number that you dial which is either a local access number or a toll free access number and when you dial it, the system will prompt you for the destination number. The beauty of their system is that you can use it from any phone and you don't have to worry about monthly bills, equipment, or high speed internet.
Also, I wasn't too worried about trying them because they offer a free trial, so no risks.
