This is my problem.
My internet is good. I can browse web and download files as usual but when I chat in Yahoo, MSN messenger, my voice is getting badly distracted in the other end. The persons who are chatting with me are not hearing my voice properly...the voice is jumping (slowing down and fast forwarding and some times delays etc). I could hear them properly though. What could be the problem? This started happening few days ago.
The Voice over IP software I use to call is also having the similar problem...please help!
The sound system (speaker and mic) all work fine while playing music...

Try using skype. I have used msn and yahoo for voice chat and highly recommend skype for its clarity.
Another tip while using voice chat is to avoid surfing websites or downloading or file transfers, as it takes up bandwidth and hence the bad clarity.
