voice over ip, voip providers,

Voice Over Internet Protocol (VoIP) 3 Way [Or Even More] Conferencing.?

April 30, 2009

I’m interested in PC-to-PC VoIP. I want the ability to voice call from 1 to 5 other people at the same time. I’m working over 900Km away from their location 6 month shifts. We usually IM each other over MSN Messenger and that seems to work all right. With MSN you can IM multiple people at the same time but you can’t voice call multiple people.
I was wondering if AOL Instant Messenger (aka: AIM), iChat (Do I need an iPod or iTunes for this to work) or Google Talk would let me do that or would I need something more hard core such as Babble or Skype?

I’ve got a headset and microphone compatible with my computer and I don’t want to buy an ATA Device or Webcam. Can anybody recommend the best program to use? Can you also please send me links to install download your recommended program?
THANKS!!!

ExpressTalk is a softphone that has a conferencing feature, or if you are looking for something more sophisticated than that, Quorum will let you set up your own conferencing server, but that might be overkill depending on what you are trying to do. But here are some links for you to check out:

Our connection to the divine is one of a kind. Both are vital, but each is unfinished without the other.

Another strength of her book is her non-academic approach. The rewards, nonetheless are very good.

With the growth in telecoms industry, many firms offer products like voice mail systems, phone sets, conferencing telephones, mobile telephones, for example. By this, one can spot the body language and confidence of the speaker.
