VoIP Phones?

April 30, 2009

I am looking into getting voip phone service and i am not clear on how to connect multiple phones in diff rooms. I want to connect 6 phones from different rooms, which are in 2 floors. how do i connect them all to a voip phone adapter? a detailed answer would be appreciated, including any components if necessary. thank you
What if i get the phone adaptor for the voip phone, cant i still use the old phones?

no, problem!!

only the Base-phone is directly connected to your modem....!

the rest of your house will use extension phone, only need an electrical outlet..

the main(base)phone has a build-in router and firewall...

you can have up to 10 extension, including bluetooth ( from Pansonic or Uniden)

since its kinda pricey to start out with all the phone you wanna buy...just get like 2 or 2 a month.....look for phones on sale, like Staples, TigerDirect, Amazon or BestBuy....their all carry VoIP phones( if you want VoIP-phones) I have them.....most VoIP providers give you the base-phone and one extension fro free when you sign up....mine did!
