What Are the Advantages and the Disadvantages of the Internet Telephony Inthe Voip?

Voip services like Vonage are very inexpensive. I use Vonage. The only downside that I found is that when my cable internet goes out, I have no phone service. I was really having some issues with my cable for a while and had very little internet connection. Once that was worked out, the phone service has been great.

Occassionally there will be a delay in transmitting, or an echo when I talk, but it is just like talking on a cell phone. Sometimes you get that.

I was paying 65 a month for phone service before vonage. Now I pay 15 a month. So I am very happy now.
