Skype voice over internet protocol let's you use your computer as a telephone.

Wifi or DSL is a radio-waves. It is not free. It is a service provided by ISP.

WIFI is a service just like your NOT FREE cellphone, your internet service, AND your telephone bill.

They are SO not the same thing.

Opportunity Cost enters into your decision making criteria when you have several options top consider, including spending the money on several choices of investment.

For example, I own a store space in a shopping mall. I can open a store using that space but I would then need to invest in the furniture, displays etc. Alternatively I could just rent our the space to a potential seller and get a rental revenue.

My decision would depends on how much money I would estimated to profit from selling my products (after my investments) compared to how much money I would earn from renting the space. There might be another possibility, I could rent half of the space & use the other half to sell my stuff (changing my opportunity cost).

Cheers...

This video is what I call the free provision of a good with positive externalities; it's so good that it's being over consumed cause it's free! But what are the costs of making this video? xD

If you just want a HOT SPOT then do not activate any security and then anyone in range of your router will be able to access your signal.
I may add that you or your parents will be paying for free Internet Access for anyone in range. This isn't generally a smart thing to do. It is much better to activate the one of 3 options to activate security, through your Routers Utiliy, and they are WEP-WPA- or WPA-2.

V = 1250 = ?hr^2
h = 1250 / ?r^2

C(r) = (3.05 + 1.75) * [?r^2] + (0.65) * [2?rh]
= 4.8?r^2 + 1.3?r(1250 / ?r^2)
= 4.8?r^2 + 1625/r

C'(r) = 9.6?r - 1625/r^2 = 0
r^3 = 1625 / 9.6?
= 53.8805797
r = 3.7769748 =~ 3.777 cm
h = 27.8915 cm

Well, you are not saying if it is a project for the University, if it is a project for a friend or whether you are planning to release a product yourself.

Either way, it might help you to consider the use of an Active X control (some companies offer free trial versions), or take a look at some of the software development kits available (see first link below)

You can also take a look at how that approach has been taken. I think I have found you a couple of open source implementations (see second and third links)

I hope you enjoy your project and that it benefits you in some way.

Regards,

Marc

This film cost $31 million. With that kind of money I could have invaded some country. -Clint Eastwood:

This week brought news that Samsung's Galaxy Tab 10.1 would be released into the wild in just a few days. Today, a WiFi tablet from the Korean company made its way through the FCC bearing model number GT-P7310. Which, you see, is slightly different from the GT-P7510 moniker we saw in another FCC filing earlier this month, and this ended up being the limited edition 10.1 passed out at Google I/O. While some may think that this could well be the 8.9-inch version of Sammy's Android tablet, the above drawing is actually identical to the previous one bar the extra text at the bottom, so our money's on 10.1 again -- maybe this variant is destined for other countries? We shall see. Update: A big more digging found a pair of 10.1-inchers demonstrated in Monaco with models listed as the GT-P7300 (a WiFi plus 3G Galaxy Tab 10.1) and GT-P7310, which, you guessed it, is a WiFi-only version. Another Samsung WiFi Galaxy Tab 10.1 hits the FCC, this time dubbed GT-P7310 originally appeared on...
