Can you still use your current analog phones from traditional phone jacks in your house. Comcast said they will rent me EMTA which I will be paying monthly rental fee for. Or is there an equipment that I can buy so I wont' have to rent EMTA for VOIP phone service?

ATA is Analog Telephone Adapter so you can use your regualr house phone for voip. Check out Grandstream ATA's or Linksys. They're very good.
