My dad's business uses either an Airport Extreme or Express (I don't know which) as the wifi router for the business. The router is connected to a gateway and a switch. They also have their VoIP phones connected to the switch. The previous company in the office space set it all up and its a big mess.
I need to get into the router to make security and routing changes.
When I do a ipconfig /all in Command Prompt (I am running XP) my wifi connection is given the ip address of 10.0.1.194. The default gateway is listed as 10.0.1.1. When I open firefox and type in 10.0.1.1 the request always times out. Command Prompt tells me that DHCP is disabled.
Is there anyway to get access to the router either via wifi or ethernet cable (tried same thing on cable, did not work), and if so, how would I do it. Please give detailed instructions.
Thanks

If its the latest wireless N router then on a mac you would go >applications>utilities>Airport Utility>
For windows you have to download the utility
